THOMAS James was the late hero as his last-gasp try gave Esher victory in a scintillating game at Molesey Road.
The game’s first points came virtue of a penalty try for the visitors after several offences, with Cameron Leigh wheeling the scrum under the posts being the final straw – an offence that also saw him sent to the sin-bin.
Just as Old Redcliffians’ advantage wound down, they finally made use of the numbers as scrum-half Kiyan Wiltshire darted over from a line-out, before on the stroke of half-time Esher were back in it when prop Matty Lowes barre...
