MIKE UREN’S late, late try gained this Clifton victory after 20 thrilling and astonishing minutes of extra-time, during which the referee engaged in protracted discussions with officials over the wish of the visitors to go to uncontested scrums.
Clifton dominated the closing stages but at times it looked like the visitors were heading for an away win in a nervy but entertaining encounter.
