BURY strolled to victory with a nine-try demolition of London Irish Wild Geese on home turf.
The Haberden has not been the fortress of recent seasons but a bumper home crowd saw Bury sign off with a much-needed win.
For the relegated Wild Geese the season can’t end soon enough but to their credit after a horror first half they dug in.
Bury romped to a 36 – 0 half-time lead courtesy of six tries, three converted by Ben Leng.
Although Irish proved a handful in the scrum, when the game opened up Bury were too quick and powerful....
