BIRMINGHAM & Solihull Bees were the convincing winners of the basement battle, Matt Dight’s hat-trick leading them off the bottom at Guernsey’s expense.
The Islanders had opened up a 10-3 lead inside the opener quarter as Daley Aremu found the corner, before prop Patrick Schickerling powered over from a metre.
