THREE second-half converted tries in the space of seven minutes finally gave Redruth a vital win after five league defeats in a row. Up to that point, Guernsey had given the home side plenty to think about.
Early Redruth pressure was eventually rewarded with a Richie Kevern penalty.
Redruth, notably through Pale Nonu in midfield, looked to punch their way through the Raiders’ defence, while Brad Howe and Craig Williams also looked to make ground.
