IT wasn’t a winter classic but a dogged and determined Tonbridge Juddians performance saw them emerge deserved winners over Redruth.
The home side drew first blood in what was to be the only score of the opening period as they found good field position in the early exchanges and, after several strong drives for the line, Ben Ashmore eventually crossed.
The conversion was missed and although both teams had some half chances there were to no further scores before the break.
