MICHAEL Hagan scored a late winner as Birmingham & Solihull narrowly defeated London Irish Wild Geese.
A forward pass on the home side’s own fivemetre line created the opening and after the pack could not drive over, the ball was moved infield and Birmingham scrumhalf Hagan sneaked through for his first score of the afternoon.
Jack Jolly made no mistake with the boot to add the extra two points.
Despite the visitors dominating the early exchanges, they only led 7-0 at half-time.
