THE Wild Geese recorded their second successive win over West Country opposition in a scrappy game which saw a wasteful Clifton out-muscled when it really mattered most.
Clifton opened as the better team when their current try-scoring machine winger William Pomphrey crossed twice following his hat-trick the week before.
The first came from a catch and drive when he squeezed into the corner, with Brad Barnes converting. Good handling gave him the chance to go over again and increase the lead.
