CANTERBURY ran out victors in a thrilling game against Clifton to earn a fifth league victory, with no shortage of tries on display.
The hosts opened the scoring with the first try of the game but at one point trailed by 12 points before a brilliant comeback meant the game finished 40-34.
Two tries from JJ Murray – including Canterbury’s first – ensured victory, which at one point looked uncertain as Clifton led 26-21 at half-time.
