Guernsey shine to down Clifton

GUERNSEY moved above opponents Clifton in the table after a convincing win under the lights at Footes Lane. Tries from Layton Batiste, Elia Morisio, Chris Ahne and a penalty try secured a comfortable bonus-point win for the Raiders.
Despite the 25-point victory, it was in fact Clifton who opened the scoring via a penalty from Brad Barnes in the opening five minutes. Yet ten minutes later Guernsey scored their first try, with a dominant catch and drive set-piece from a line-out resulting in referee Andrew Mac- Neaney awarding a penalty try.
