TAUNTON overcame a spirited Wild Geese side in a topsy-turvy encounter which saw more than a point a minute and two try bonus points by half-time. In the first minute visiting captain Nick Mason arced through before feeding Oliver Rice. Irish replied, Reuben Knight offloading for Joshua Amadi to swerve in, then took the lead through Brandon Baker after a driving maul, Knight converting to make it 12-7.
