WIMBLEDON struck with minutes to spare to stave off the threat of relegation for at least another week and boost their survival hopes.
A penalty-ridden opening exchange saw Wimbledon with the early pressure but it was the visitors who opened the scoring from close range through skipper Mike O’Sullivan.
It took the Dons until shortly before half-time to respond when a break down the blindside led to an Adam O’Leary-Blade try levelling the scores and sending the teams into the break at 5-5.
