IN EXTREMELY heavy conditions Old Redcliffians just about came out on top, wanting the win more than the visitors.
The hosts had the perfect start when a deep kick was returned and the ball was regained by flanker Jack O’Malley who touched down, Kieran Hill adding the extras after two minutes.
TJs looked dangerous with ball in hand but Reds’ defence held out, with Scott Parsons and Kieran Ward to the fore.
When Reds were offside Nathan Holmes landed a penalty to open the visitors’ account.
