Persey claims the honours for Titans

THIS was a classic local derby with the score going tit for tat all the way to the final whistle. The first quarter was spent with both teams trying to get the upper hand and it was the Titans who drew first blood when captain Nick Mason went over for the game’s first try.
Clifton’s full-back Bradley Barnes then closed the gap with a penalty before Taunton scored their second through winger Aron Struminski. Gary Kingdom converted but missed the next onewhen Mason went over for his second.
