Kevern class act as Reds victorious

REDRUTH gained their first away win of 2018 thanks to their forward power, ball retention skills and a series of Clifton mistakes.
The first try came early on from a well-judged penalty into the corner and a crab-like drive to the post for skipper Richard Brown to touch down. The second came in similar fashion with Todd Prisk scoring and man-of-the-match Richie Kevern converting both.
Another clean break and touch down by Kevern before half-time, with him converting, gave the visitors a comfortable lead. Clifton responded with two Brad Barnes penalties.
