THREElate tries flattered a strangely below-par Bury side.
League standings suggested a comfortable win for them, but it did not pan out like that.
An early Cliff Hodgson try was quickly cancelled out by a converted Luke Beales try and a Fraser Honey penalty to leave Bury comfortable.
However the visitors had not read the script. Full-back Andy Murray, a threat all game, danced through some wayward tackles that culminated in Joe Lane rounding off a fine try to level the scores.
