CLIFTONled by 15 points until just before the interval when Cinderford scored and went on to sweep to victory.
A charged-down clearance allowed winger Bentley Halpin to give
Clifton an early lead. Cinderford looked sharp, but a Brad Barnes penalty and a try by Sam Harrison, converted by Barnes, added to their woes.
A turnover brought the Forest of Dean men back into the game when Matthew Lane scored their opening try.
And the second half belonged to Cinderford and their forward power as Clifton spent most of the half defending their own line.
