REDINGENSIANS came out on top in a match that was far less comfortable than many expected.
The early play suggested an upset could be on the cards as Redcliffians took the early advantage with a try for David Jones.
However, a yellow card, for James Foss gave the Rams an advantage and Steve Bryant scored.
The Reading men took the lead with some flowing rugby finished coolly by Greg Illingworth.
