Hawks do just enough to sneak to victory

HENLEY Hawks claimed a deserved bonus-point win over Barnstaple at Dry Leas in a fiercely contested match well-refereed by Charles Gayther.
It was an error-strewn game between two evenlymatched sides but Henley’s intent to play the game at pace and dominate the territory saw them home.
After the Hawks opened brightly, it was the visitors who opened the scoring with a try from prop Dan Southworth who finished off a driving maul. Jordan Petherbridge converting.
