CLIFTON emerged the victors in a dramatic nine-try encounter, fighting off a late Broadstreet comeback in a 35-32 triumph.
It seemed the home side had snatched victory from the jaws of defeat when Joshua Nott crossed the whitewash in the 70th minute, but substitute James Stephenson had other ideas.
The hooker scored a last-gasp try to help his team to five points after victory on the road, but Broadstreet also came away with two bonus points after such a highscoring came.
