CANTERBURY built on an early lead to take the honours and even denied TJs a losing bonus point.
They drew first blood with a Ben Cooper try from a catch and drive, clearly determined to make amends for last week’s home defeat by Cinderford.
They continued to control affairs throughout the first quarter and it was the East Kent side who struck again following a period of sustained pressure, leaving winger Harry Sayers to cross.
