CINDERFORD ran in nine tries as they overwhelmed Clifton in a one-sided derby. They got off to a perfect start when they kicked a penalty into the corner and, from the line-out, No.8 Harry Hone was driven over for a score, which James Moffat duly converted.
Cinderford attacked again from the restart and hooker Nathan Taylor put Aaron Ryan through for a try, which Moffat again converted.
Clifton enjoyed a good spell of possession after this but rarely threatened to break through a wellorganised home defence.
