A NEW-LOOK Bury St Edmunds side started their campaign against Tonbridge, who, fresh from promotion, were keen to show they have what it takes to compete in National Two.
Tonbridge applied early pressure on Bury, with Hugo Watson, Liam Prescott and Murray Galbraith- Lowe (two) all crossing the whitewash.
Three conversions came from the boot of Liam Prescott, meaning Tonbridge took a 26-0 lead into half-time.
