SECOND-HALF tries from Redruth half-backs Joe Elderkin and Jack Oulton sparked Redruth to a bonus-point win against a plucky Clifton.
Defences were largely on top during a generally sterile first half, punctuated by a try on the half-hour mark from a pick-and-go by Redruth skipper Kyle Marriott. Elderkin added the extras to leave the Reds 7- 0 up at the break.
The young fly-half rounded off a fine Redruth move involving Pale Nonu, Craig Williams and Marriott just after the break for his side’s second, adding another conversion.
