Steve Hill talks to Peter Evans, below, the player/head coach at Billingham RFC who have just finished their first season at Level 4

Why did you get into coaching rugby and how did you arrive at your current position?
I have been a Billingham player since the age of four and at 21 was asked to captain the 1st team. At the age of 26 I was asked to take on the role of player/head coach. I spent a season shadowing Chris Hyndman and then I had his support as DoR for two more years before I took over.
