STOUR kept their promotion prospects alive, but were given a real run for their money by a battling Blaydon who picked up two precious bonus points in their battle to beat the drop.
Still smarting from last week’s 50-point drubbing at Sedgley Park, Stour started the game like a house on fire and took exactly 122 seconds to open their account when Clarkson McLeod crashed over for Michael Heaney to convert.
Blaydon were quick to responded with Ethan Clarke charging over.
