TWO touchdowns from the mercurial Jack Oulton helped Redruth to a six-try win against a valiant Henley.

The Hawks swooped for the first try from a catch-and-drive, with Tom Emery driven over. Monty Bradbury kicked the first of his three conversions.

Redruth cut the deficit with a penalty from the impressive Will Trewin. The Reds were coming more into it, a sweeping backs move saw good hands from Dean Bonds and Jack Simmons setting up Oulton for his first try. Trewin added the extras, as he would do on another four occasions.

Oulton turned provider for Trewin as the fullback cut a lovely angle to score near the posts.

Redruth were bamboozled by a wicked bounce allowing Guy Rawsthorn to romp in under the sticks.

Hawks went down to 14 before the break and Redruth bagged their third try through Ben Fox for a ten-point halftime advantage.

Redruth made sure of the win with two tries in eight minutes. Oulton crossed after a strong maul, then lock Ed Pascoe finished off some close quarter work.

Hawks' Reuben Norville showed good pace to set up Alex Harmes, before Redruth's Mackenzie Oliver scored from a close range ruck.
