EXETER finally suffered their first loss of the season away to an inspired Hartpury side 31-17, ending a 16-match unbeaten run. The champions faced a refreshed Hartpury side, chomping at the bit after their postponement last week prevented them from building on their 44-7 thrashing of third-placed Durham in round eight.
Hartpury’s rapid start to the game reflected as much as they flew into a 10-0 lead courtesy of a try by Cameron Cobbett and points from the boot of Kiellen Cullen.
