Hartpury women’s head coach Mo Hunt hailed the character of her squad after they lifted the Women’s National League trophy last week.
The 32-12 bonus-point win over Loughborough in the final game cemented Hartpury’s place at the top having lost just one game all season.
“The effort the girls put in behind the scenes is incredible and I could not be prouder,” Hunt said. “You want to coach athletes like that, who are in it for each other.”
