EXETER bounced back from their shock defeat to Leeds Beckett to beat Cardiff 56-28, while Loughborough extended their lead at the summit of the league.
Exeter, the reigning league champions who lost just twice in the regular season last year, slumped to their third defeat in just eight games last week to a Beckett side rooted to the bottom of the table, but bounced back this week with a 56-28 away win at Cardiff.
