Ravenscourt Park Prep School represented the only mixed-gender team participating in last month’s Rosslyn Park 7s, and head coach Sam Challenor believes the opportunity for girls and boys to play in the same team reflects rugby’s values of inclusivity.
The mixed-gender team played in the U11s competition, which was a contact tournament rather than touch but had the aim of encouraging participation and inclusivity, therefore having no actual winner.
