Sevens season is here. This week saw the first major regional tournaments take place and made sure the lead up to the Rosslyn Park National Sevens build up began with a bang.
The biggest statement was made by Sedbergh, who won RGS Newcastle’s Will Welch Sevens with an extraordinary 162 points difference across five games. Despite missing numerous players to the Premiership Academies League, they eased through their group, beat Dame Allen’s 28-0 in the semi-final, and beat Harrogate School in the final 21-7.
