Samuel Whitbread Academy began their sevens season in style by winning the second edition of the Ipswich School 7s last weekend.
Having lost to Ipswich in their opener, the Bedfordshire-based school eventually beat the hosts 31-26 in the final.
Despite missing key players who were away with Northampton Saints academy, the hosts looked strongest going into the tour nament and started well, winning their first three games before falling to Felsted School in their final group game.
