‘It’s tough on Beno Obano, we stand by him’ – Johann Van Graan

Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan said he has never seen a scrum penalty given near halfway result in a red card.
“To concede a scrum penalty in the middle of the pitch, for it to be a red card is certainly a first in my time,” he said. “That is the way the referee saw it. That was tough on Beno to get red-carded that way, we all stand by him.
“I am disappointed because we came here to win but absolutely proud because we have not regrets in the changing room.
