Toulon beat the Stormers in front of a bumper crowd at Nelson Mandela Stadium.
The visitors were the better of the two sides throughout and opened the scoring through an opportunistic effort from Gabin Villiere in the first five minutes. Man of the match Baptiste Serin – who didn’t miss a kick all game – added the extras.
Serin extended the lead with a penalty before Warrick Gelant hit back for the Stormers with an acrobatic finish converted by Manie Libbok.
