Lam: I’m proud of how we played

ALTHOUGH his team were well beaten, Bristol director of rugby Pat Lam was pleased with much of what he saw. He said: “I’m very proud of the boys, what an experience for many of them, coming out here in France and playing a very good side in front of 28,000 or whatever it was. We kept going and kept fighting against the top side. Sam Worsley at fly-half was Bristol’s youngest ever starter in the Champions Cup.
