Leinster head coach Leo Cullen hailed the performance of young centre, Jamie Osborne, who is destined to be a star of the future.
“He has tremendous natural ability and is a composed individual, who had some outstanding moments,” said Cullen.
“Gloucester is a hard place to come and the conditions were tricky but we got over the line with some well-worked tries in the first half.
“Gloucester had huge commitment and gave us plenty to think about especially with their driving maul and that’s a facet of our game we need to have a look at.”
