Baxter can’t hide his delight

Exeter Chiefs boss Rob Baxter

EXETER director of rugby Rob Baxter was delighted with his team’s performance. He said: “It felt like the old Chiefs were back. We have talked about how to rekindle that and, although we are always looking for add ons, some days you just go back to your basics, work hard and get your confidence back.
“At Scotstown before Christmas, although Glasgow played very well to beat us, we really didn’t fire a shot and tonight we wanted to put that right. We focussed totally on a bonus point win. There was no way we were going to take shots at goal and the team delivered fantastically well.
