Ludlam was the pick of the Saints’ pack and a couple of big carries either side of half time caught the eye. With 15 carries he clocked up more than 100 metres but missed four of 14 tackles. Doris looks like being in the mix for Ireland come the Six Nations. He made the same number of carries, although not quite the same distance, but he did get his team’s seventh try and his solid defensive shift gave him the nod.
