Storming comeback keep the Warriors’ hopes alive

GLASGOW Warriors battled back from 18-6 down just before half-time to defeat La Rochelle in a cracking Champions Cup Pool 2 clash at the Stade Marcel Deflandre yesterday. T he Scots went into the match with one win and a defeat and this triumph was needed if they were going to push Exeter Chiefs and Sale Sharks for knockout stage qualification.
They showed superb resolve in the secod half to come out on top and now will be focusing on doing the double against winless La Rochelle at Scotstoun next weekend.
