SAMU Kerevi, the most effective Wallaby in a largely ineffective Australian side at the World Cup, now says he was “having a bit of a laugh” when he suggested he might turn out for Fiji at the next global jamboree in 2023.
We must take him at his word. It would, however, be the best fun any rugby nut could have with his clothes on to watch a generously financed, properly prepared Fijian squad go fully-loaded into that tournament in France.
Just imagine: the likes of Josua Tuisova, Semi Radradra, Levani Botia, Leone Nakarawa and Peceli Yato, all of whom performed spectacular feat...
