MARK McCall said Saracens had adapted impressively to losing Owen Farrell on the morning of the match after his wife went into labour, making their sixth European Cup semi-final in seven years.
“We had a rough cutoff point. His wife went into labour last night, and he was pretty confident it would happen in the morning. The important thing was he was where he should have been.” The Saracens DoR said that his side had been spurred to victory by a great collective effort in which there were outstanding individual displays, with Jamie George and Brad Barritt in the vanguard.
