MUNSTER showed great resolve and defensive strength to edge out Edinburgh in a cracking last eight tie at Murrayfield.
The visitors were 10-7 down at the break but turned things around with a late Keith Earls try – his second of the night – to come out on top 17-13.
Munster coach Johann van Graan said: “I am proud of the players. Edinburgh threw everything at us, but we kept our composure when it mattered and toughed this one out.”
