BATH rugby director Todd Blackadder said that his side had made gains despite a home defeat by the European champions which leaves their hopes hanging by a thin thread.
Blackadder said: “If we played like that every week, we’d be a different side. There was really nothing between us.
“We were in a massive arm-wrestle today, and it came down to a couple of little decisions. I suppose if we win next week we are still in with a shout, and if we don’t, it’s game over. We will go full metal jacket.”
