DYLAN Hartley reckons a “back to basics policy” has helped Northampton turn the corner under veteran Australian coach Alan Gaffney.
Hartley said Gaffney had concentrated on the basics following the dismissal of Jim Mallinder because of poor results.
Northampton have now delivered back-toback wins for the first time since September.
