ROBBIE Henshaw paid tribute to his young teammates who stepped up for yesterday’s Champions Cup opener.
Without Johnny Sexton, Scott Fardy and Sean O’Brien, Leinster called upon Ross Byrne, James Ryan and Jack Conan, and Henshaw was impressed with their performances.
“It was a tough week with a few key starters pulling out, but credit to the young guys who came in late and stepped up to the plate”, said Henshaw.
“We can’t do any better than getting a bonus point at home against a tough side like Montpellier.”
