Matt Scott says it was his ‘privilege’ to pull on the Leicester Tigers jersey after playing his final game for the club last weekend.
Alongside team-mates Francois van Wyk and Jasper Wiese, the 33-year-old was given a rousing ovation as he led his side into action against Exeter at a packed Welford Road.
It was, according to the Scottish international, a fitting finale for his time in the East Midlands as the Tigers rounded off their Premiership campaign with a 40-22 victory.
