Saracens have endured a tough campaign on and off the pitch as they head into the playoffs but director of rugby Mark McCall points out that they’ve responded emphatically well to setbacks each time this season.
The north Londoners were in pole position to secure a home semi-final last weekend but were stunned by Sale Sharks 20-10 at the StoneX which resulted in Sarries finishing fourth, rather than the predicted second.
