Leicester boss Michael Cheika warned his side they cannot afford to be slow out of the blocks at the business end of the season after their sluggish start against Quins.
Tigers led by just five points at the break after having the lion’s share of possession and territory without turning it into dominance.
Cheika read the riot act at the break and the hosts were revitalised afterwards with Quins down to 13 men for 10 minutes and 14 for the rest of the second half.
