Gloucester's defence coach Dom Waldouck praised his side’s “relentless effort” despite being knocked out of the cup.
The Cherries & Whites scored two tries and totalled 17 points in the second-half but could not overcome an 8-0 half-time deficit.
Waldouck said: “I thought the boys were relentless in their effort. Every moment of the game they fought and I’m so proud of that effort.
